Latch design principles are anchored in the culture of modern living. By designing a seamless experience, we redefined home access to a single solution platform with a completely new interface designed for how we live today. The Latch lock allows user and building manager to manage access for services like Airbnb, Amazon and deliver singular access for the user to the apartment, gym and public space.
The design of Latch is mindful application of technology. To make it simple, we created a circular interface that remains silent until you touch it. It's easy to use and the user intuitively connect with it's soul. This allows the user to build trust in the our system replacing a traditional key. The product family show continuity by sharing its iconic interface for seamless access between different spaces and type of doors.
The design is crafted to deliver longevity through its sculptural form, materials and seamless functionality between the physical and digital. The simple design is timless and fit into any architectual environment, new or old so that the sytem can live across a modern city.
